Ready to grow without the boring stuff?
In 2020, I was sitting at my messy desk, staring at my laptop, and feeling completely lost. I was making $5 an hour as a freelancer, scrambling for clients, and constantly worrying about my next paycheck. Does this sound familiar?
I remember thinking, “Is this it? Is this what freelancing is supposed to be?” I felt like I was throwing spaghetti at the wall, hoping something would stick. Spoiler alert: it didn’t.
But not one day, after consistent effort, I found my niche, which not only changed my business, it also changed my life. I went from chaos to clarity, from scraping by to thriving. And in this week’s newsletter, I want to share how you can do the same.
Tip of the Week
Your niche will find you—if you let it.
When I started freelancing, I tried everything. Social media? Sure. Graphic design? Why not. Blog management? Let’s go.
I was like a kid in a candy store, except the candy was odd jobs, and the store was the Internet.
I didn’t find my niche by forcing it. I found it by experimenting, failing, and paying attention to what made me up.
Take a close look at your business. Don’t focus solely on a big money-making niche; focus on what makes you happy and relaxed and what you can confidently sell.
The ultimate goal is not to make more money but to find calm, freedom, and happiness.
So let your niche choose you, but before that, keep experimenting and let yourself get a little stressed because once your niche finds you, you’ll appreciate all your efforts and write about your past experiences proudly.
So if you’re feeling overwhelmed or unsure, take a deep breath. Your niche is out there, waiting for you to stumble into it.
Psst... whenever you're ready, there are a few ways I can help you
